What is Ryve?
Ryve is a free health companion app that helps you manage medicines, appointments, prescriptions, and health records — all in one place. It works with any doctor you’ve already visited.
Is Ryve really free?
Yes. The core features — medicine reminders, appointment management, prescription scanning, health records — are free. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the essentials will always be accessible.
Do I need to download it from the Play Store or App Store?
No. Ryve is a web app that installs directly from your browser — no app store needed, no large downloads. Tap “Add to Home Screen” and it works like any app on your phone. Under 2 MB.
Can Ryve see my prescriptions and health records?
No. Your personal health information is encrypted and access-controlled. We don’t read your prescriptions, view your reports, or know your diagnosis. The app processes your data on your device where possible.
Can my doctor see everything in my Ryve account?
No. Your doctor only sees information you explicitly share with them. You control what to share, with which doctor, and for how long. Sharing links expire automatically.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Anytime, from Settings. One tap deletes your entire account and all associated data. This is permanent and irreversible — exactly as it should be.
What if the prescription scan gets a medicine name wrong?
You can always edit. After scanning, Ryve shows you what it detected — you review, correct if needed, and confirm before any reminders are set. Nothing is automated without your approval.
Does Ryve work without internet?
Partially. Your medicines, doctors, and recent records are cached on your device and viewable offline. Reminders work as scheduled. Features that require server communication — like sharing records or checking queue position — need a connection.
